Cross-App Promotion for Eromodo

Gender-targeted mobile banners designed to redirect existing dating app users toward a casual connections platform.

The brief

A dating app company needed to introduce their existing users to Eromodo—their no-strings-attached alternative. The challenge was segmenting users who wanted casual connections rather than serious relationships, all while keeping the promotion within their own app ecosystem.

The approach

These banners appear below menu items in the company’s relationship-focused dating apps, offering users a different option without leaving the platform family. We created two gender-targeted variations with distinct messaging: the female audience sees “Conexiuni? Da. Dar picante.” in vibrant yellow with chili pepper imagery—playful and suggestive without going overboard. The male audience gets “Nu toți caută o relație.” in cool turquoise with red heels, directly addressing commitment-free connections with a confident, seductive vibe.

The visual metaphors—chili pepper and red heels—communicate Eromodo’s casual, erotic tone while staying subtle enough for in-app placement. Color choices reinforce the psychological difference: warm yellow for energy and passion, cool turquoise for modern detachment. The bold, rounded typography reflects the brand’s playful personality and contrasts sharply with the parent apps’ more refined aesthetic.

The result

The result is a smart cross-promotion strategy that segments users by intent, offering a clear alternative within the company’s ecosystem. Each banner speaks directly to its audience while maintaining cohesive branding through the flame logo and consistent visual language.
